ModelGeek's Podcast
Hey Modelers! Welcome to the ModelGeeks Scale Modeling Podcast, a place where we talk about anything and everything relating to models. Sit back and buckle up for what we believe will be an exciting journey into the world of scale modeling. It doesn’t matter whether you’re new to the hobby or you been around since Moses, nor does it matter what you build; planes, armor, ships or automobiles. We hope to have a little bit for each of you.
Our format is simple and to the point; modeling news you can use, a few tips and techniques, some lighthearted banter (maybe a beer or two...) and most importantly, interaction with you, the listener! Please feel free to drop us an email at: contact@modelgeekspodcast.com and weigh in on whatever our show topic is. You can also find us on the ModelGeeks Facebook Page or our website: www.modelgeekspodcast.com.
In closing, thanks to all the ModelGeeks out there! This podcast wouldn't exist without the tremendous support we have received from all the Geeks out there. We really hope that you will download and make us a regular part of your modeling bench sessions. Keep on building, be excellent to each other, and by all means... get out there and build something!

ModelGeeks Episode 40; "Pushing through a problem/finding solutions"
Welcome to Episode 40 of The ModelGeeks Podcast. In this episode we’ll discuss what’s going on around the hobby we love, and in our Main Topic we’ll cover overcoming difficulties in a build. Problem solving is one aspect of modeling I happen to enjoy, it gets you thinking ahead of the build, sharpens the ol’ noggin’, and gives you a feeling of accomplishment…well, if things go well that is.
D-ran and Nemo just returned from Roanoke VA where they attended the Roanoke Valley IPMS Virginia Shootout on Saturday. They’ll give a recap of the show and let us know how they did!
The “Post Nats” mojo is still burning strong and each of us will talk about what’s on our bench, and what kits or accessories we’ve picked up.
We’ll also give a run-down of what’s new out there in kits, aftermarket, upcoming shows, and other news around the hobby. We would like to thank all the listeners for the continued support you have given the show. We hope to see you out and about as we hit some of the shows. If you can't make it to the shows then you can still interact with us through social media, Facebook, Instagram, and email: contact@modelgeekspodcast.com
We also want to thank each of our sponsors for their support. We are very lucky to have their support. When you have the time, pay a visit to their web sites, and have a look at their fine products.
